I'm starting to take personal offense to bloody noses.
After an epic battle to trim Little Bug's nails last night, I believe he still managed to scrap up the inside of his nose this morning enough to cause gushing blood.....at least, that is what I am guessing. I didn't see it start.
I just woke up to a drip, drip, drip on my face. Little Bug was sitting above me in bed with a radiant good morning smile on his cute face....that was completely covered in blood.
Just like his jammies.
Just like my jammies.
Just like our pillows and sheets.
Just like my wall (?!).
I didn't have a bath for him or laundry for us budgeted in my morning routine, so needless to say the morning started off on the wrong foot.
I'm hoping this means I have gotten my "bodily fluids horror" of the week out of the way nice and early. It's all dry sailing from here!
Oh my. That is not a pleasant sight to wake up to. I too, hope that this bodily fluid incident is it for you for the week!
ReplyDeleteOh! I'm SO sorry for you. That is *not* the way to start off a Monday! Ugh.
ReplyDeleteAnd epic battles are exactly why I procrastinate the nail trims here.
That is NOT a good way to start the day! I hope the rest of your mornings this week start much more pleasantly.
ReplyDeleteThat is the most dramatic wake-up ever. I'm sorry that happened to you guys this morning.
ReplyDeletei just noticed that you have a tag titled "gross". so perfect! that is no way to start any morning, let alone a monday! i agree. i think that pays the bill for at least 2 weeks!
ReplyDeleteps. i'm sorry that i had a good chuckle at your expense!
Yuck! I hope the day only got better from there.
