To all the mothers that I secretly cursed at when they told me "3 is way worse than 2":
I'm sorry. You were right; I was wrong.
If the twos are terrible, the threes are terrorizing, traumatic, and way too thought out. It's so much worse when the whining and disobedience is coupled with clever manipulation and an actual thought process that results in planning....planning to thwart me in the most creative and annoying ways.
It's so bad that even Appa is scared of our tiny treasure. 11 months to go and counting!
Sincerely,
A battle-worn mama
Ugh! Say it ain't so!
ReplyDeleteRuh roh! Really?!
ReplyDeleteWe are feeling this pain in our house too - threes in full force with my daughter. It is so incredibly frustrating, exhausting, and aggravating all at once. And while my youngest isn't officially two until next week, the 2s have started as well. Should make for an interesting year.
ReplyDeleteMaybe this explains why I spent most of last year traumatized. I had two 3 year olds in my home. I swear they were plotting together to bring me down.
ReplyDeleteOh CRUD!! We are 2 months of the way to what I will now dub the TRAUMATIC THREES!! Gee I hope it was going to get easier. I can only think I might look back in laugh some day!! Hang in there. Celeste
ReplyDeleteOh no! Say it ain't so, DDoM!
ReplyDeleteTerrific twos! Terrifying threes! Fabulous fours are just around the corner though. :)
